At the Oshiwara police station in Mumbai, actress Ruchi Gujjar has filed an FIR against Karan Singh Chauhan, the producer of the film “So Long Valley”, for fraud, criminal betrayal and intimidation. This case is related to the economic dispute of Rs 24 lakh on the co-construction of Hindi television serial. Ruchi alleges that between July 2023 and January 2024, he transferred these money to Karan’s company K. Studios and other accounts from his company SR event and entertainment.

Police sources said that on the basis of complaint of interest, an FIR has been registered against Karan on 24 July 2025 under Sections 318 (4), 352, and 351 (2) of the Indian Justice Code (BNS) 2023. Ruchi has claimed that Karan Singh Chauhan contacted him through WhatsApp and described himself as the creator of a Hindi serial and claimed to launch the show on Sony TV.
Ruchi cheated on producer Charges of
Ruchi further claimed that he proposed to connect him as co-producers and also sent documents related to the project. Relying on these things, Ruchi transferred to his different bank accounts. Ruchi further told the police that no work on the project started, despite repeated contacts, he kept avoiding them and he told them a lie.
The actress said that, the producer put those money in a film named “So Long Valley” and said that this film will return the money after selling. The film is being released on July 27, when I got the information, I told him that now I returned my money on which he started threatening me.
Police started investigating the case
Ruchi has clearly mentioned transaction details, account number and economic losses in the FIR. The Mumbai Police has registered a case and started investigation and all banking transactions, call records and other evidence are being investigated. Please tell that they are interest.
