Celebrity fitness coach Mahesh Ghanekar recently shared a video on Instagram, in which a glimpse of 45-year-old Kareena Kapoor Khan’s fitness routine is shown. Along with the video, the coach wrote, “Sustainable fitness is not just about weight loss, but about strength and endurance. When you give priority to performance and health, the results become visible automatically.” He also said that Kareena sets the same example which is necessary to stay fit for a long time.
In the video, Kareena can be seen doing exercises that focus on functional movements, core training and consistent exercise, and not on instant results. These exercises are helpful in increasing the strength of the entire body.
Which exercises does Kareena do?
First of all in the video, Kareena is seen doing step exercise using an aerobic stepper. During this, she steps on the ground and the stepper alternately. This set is done first with one leg and then with the other leg, which improves the strength and balance of the legs. After this she does barbell hold exercise. In this exercise, Kareena holds the barbell firmly in a bent position and holds it for 10 to 30 seconds. Then leave it loose for a few seconds and hold it tightly again. This increases grip strength, stability of traps, core and upper back.
The next exercise is hand-to-foot pass with medicine ball. In this, she passes the ball from under her feet and raises her feet one by one. It helps strengthen the core, increase flexibility and improve body coordination. After this, Kareena does standing dumbbell crossover toe touch. In this exercise, she holds a dumbbell in both hands and turns her body and touches the toes of the opposite foot with one hand, then repeats the same on the other side. This increases flexibility and core strength.

Finally, Kareena is seen doing deadlift, which is an important part of her fitness routine. In this exercise, she lifts a heavy barbell from the ground to hip level and then puts it down. This is a full-body movement that strengthens the hamstrings, glutes, core and back muscles and helps increase overall strength and stamina.
