Kargil Victory Day: From Akshay Kumar to Siddharth Malhotra, all the stars paid tribute to Kargil heroes, wrote- ‘Salute your sacrifice’

On 26 July 1999, Indian soldiers won Pakistan after a three -month war in Kargil, Ladakh. Since then, every year this day is celebrated as Kargil Victory Day. At the same time, many Bollywood celebs from Akshay Kumar to Siddharth Malhotra have paid tribute to the brave armed forces of the country and have remembered their sacrifice by posting on their social media handles.

Bollywood player Kumar i.e. Akshay Kumar wrote on his Instagram account and story, “Tributes to all the braves who gave us this freedom and peace, this is a feeling of pride.” He wrote a message in Hindi and finally wrote “Jai Hind”.

Siddharth Malhotra remembers the sacrifice of Kargil heroes
Siddharth Malhotra, who became a new dad, posted pictures of the soldiers and wrote in his post remembering Captain Vikram Batra aka ‘Sher Shah’, “The countless brave hearts that we can stand for safe sleep, your soul is alive in every heartbeat of a proud and beautiful nation. Your sacrifice is alive today and always salute.
