A sensational encounter took place on Tuesday between STF (Special Task Force) and miscreants near Kurali village in Karnal district of Haryana. In this encounter, two notorious shooters were shot in their legs, who were surrounded by the police and caught. The arrested criminals have been identified as Ashish and Kapil, who are residents of Sonipat. Both the miscreants have been immediately admitted to the Trauma Center in Karnal for treatment, where their condition is said to be out of danger.
Giving information about the case, STF DSP Aman Kumar said that the Karnal STF team had received secret information that two suspected shooters were present on Kurali Road planning an incident. As soon as the information was received, the STF team cordoned off the area. Seeing the police coming towards them, the miscreants tried to run away and started firing directly at the police team.

Miscreants injured in retaliatory firing
After the firing by the miscreants, the police defended themselves and retaliated. During this time, the bullets fired by the STF hit the legs of both the miscreants, due to which they fell on the spot. After the encounter, the police immediately controlled them. DSP said that the policemen had a narrow escape during the firing, otherwise a major incident could have happened.
Sonipat firing and video case
Investigation has revealed that both these criminals are residents of Dodwa village of Sonipat and are professional shooters. On February 27, they had opened indiscriminate firing at the showroom of ‘Pahal Nutrition’ located in Sonipat. After committing the crime, these miscreants also released a video on social media to spread their terror. Police have recovered two pistols and a suspicious bag from the spot, which is being thoroughly investigated. Many criminal cases have already been registered against these miscreants.
