Bengaluru crime: On April 4, two girls were tampered with in the Suddaguntepalya area of Bengaluru. The incident occurred in the Bharti layout, where the CCTV camera showed that a young man comes to two girls and forcibly pushes one of them towards the wall, then runs away from there. The statement of Karnataka Home Minister Ji Parmeshwar has come out on this incident, which is being considered quite disputed.
Zee Parmeshwar said, “Such incidents often occur in big cities.” His statement is being severely criticized, because people are considering it as taking crime lightly. However, the minister also said that legal action will be taken against the accused and he has directed the police to keep strict monitoring.

A video video has also been shared on social media. According to the user, the incident took place in BTM layout of Bengaluru, the incident took place around 1.52 pm on 4 April. After this incident, both girls are seen crying and screaming. Regarding the incident, the Bangalore police said that the matter is still under investigation. The culprits will be caught soon. However, the victim has not yet filed a complaint
Many cases have come before this
In August last year, a similar incident was captured in camera. A woman was teased by a person during a morning walk in Konanakunte area of Bengaluru. The accused cab driver was arrested two days after the incident. According to government data, in 2023, Bangalore saw a significant increase in crime against women, in which the police registered 3,260 cases, of which 1,135 were related to tampering.
