Karnatka high court on bike stunts: If you do stunts on the road by bike or see someone doing this, then be careful now. The Karnataka High Court has made it clear that it is not a bravery, but a serious crime.

The High Court has directed the state government and the police administration to make the law more rigid to deal with such cases strictly. The court has admitted that the current laws are insufficient in preventing this growing problem.

What did the High Court say?

In fact, while hearing a bail plea, Justice V. Srinsanda said that the Motor Vehicles Act and the Indian Penal Code (IPC) do not have sections that can stop dangerous activities like stunting. Therefore, now the state government and the police will have to enact strict laws on those who do such stunts, so that the security of the roads will remain.

Why is stunting increasing among youth?

Today’s youth feel that it is a matter of ‘style’ or ‘courage’ to do bike stunts, but the court said that it not only threatens the stunteer, but also the life of the person sitting behind it and the lives of others on the road. Earlier these stunts were limited to big cities only, but now they have spread to villages and towns as well. Due to this, it is becoming a problem of the whole country, not a state.

The accused did not get the bell

In the case of bike stunt, a young man Arbaaz Khan was arrested by the police, who had earlier been caught doing stunts. This time he abused the stunt as well as the police, beat up and threw a mobile phone in the water. The court considered it not just traffic violations, but a serious matter of public safety and dismissed its bell petition.

Now what will happen to the stunteers?

Now strict action will be taken against those who will stunts from the bike on the road. Bangalore Traffic Police has decided that in such cases, driving license and vehicle registration certificate (RC) will be canceled. The stunteer’s bike or scooter will be confiscated. If someone does a minor stunt, the license of the owner of that vehicle will be canceled. Also, a criminal case will be registered against the stunts and an apology will be taken in writing so that he does not make such a mistake again in future.

Let us know that recently the police have seized many scooters and have detained many youths. Although some were later released on the station bell, now the police is not softening at all in such cases.
