There were a lot of expectations from the film but it could not do much at the box office and was badly flopped. Actually, this film got buried due to the blast of ‘Dhurandhar’ and it did not get audience.
You will be surprised to know that this film of Kartik Aryan earned only Rs 32.95 crore as lifetime collection in India. Now reports are coming that due to the film not performing well at the box office, Karthik has reduced his fees.

Contrary to speculations of a rift between actor and producer Karan Johar, the buzz in the industry is that Karthik has instead shown a supportive gesture. According to the report of Bollywood Hungama, a source has said that soon after the release of the film, Kartik voluntarily reduced Rs 15 crore from his fixed fee for this film produced by Dharma Productions. This decision has come at a time when many Hindi films are finding it difficult to attract the audience, hence everyone is discussing this decision of Karthik.
Karthik supported the makers
The report further claims that despite the film not being able to connect with the audience, Karthik has fully supported the film and its makers. Even before this, when Kartik Aryan’s film ‘Shehzada’ did not perform as per expectations, the actor had waived off a major part of his fees to reduce the financial burden on the producers.
Talking about Kartik Aryan’s work front, the actor is currently shooting for ‘Nagzilla’, whose co-producer is Karan Johar.
