Both lawyers and police are such columns of society on which the responsibility of following the constitution and law is fixed. Ajay Rai further wrote- “Prime Minister AAP is the MP of Varanasi as well as the Prime Minister of the country. Your state government is watching the spectacle as a mute spectator. The silence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the entire state government reflects the gross insensitivity to the pain of the lawyers. So it is your moral, political and constitutional obligation to intervene in this matter. And there is also a furore on the constitution. “

Congress leader Ajay Rai further wrote- “Advocates are not only a professional group, but are the guards of constitution and democracy. Police harassment is an attack on the entire justice system. The responsibility of the administration was to maintain harmony and trust in both sides, but the insensitivity of your central and state government has made the situation determined.
Congress leader demanded this on Varanasi police and lawyer dispute
1. The central and state government should intervene immediately and start the process of dialogue between lawyers, police administration and judicial officials.
2. Strict and fair action should be taken against the convicts of attacks on lawyers and the culprits of humiliating behavior.
3. To ensure that such incidents do not happen in future, guarantee of safety and respect of lawyers should be ensured.
Ajay Rai said that the Prime Minister is an MP of Varanasi himself. The people of Kashi and the lawyer community are looking at you with hope. If you remain silent, then it will be believed that your government is a partner and partner of this injustice.
