Kedarnath News: After six months in winter, the doors of the Kedarnath temple in Uttarakhand were again opened to the devotees. Thousands of devotees along with thousands of devotees were also present in the temple courtyard along with Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, along with thousands of devotees in the temple premises to open the doors of the eleventh Jyotirlinga, located at a height of more than eleven thousand feet in Rudraprayag district.
Despite the cold, devotees filled with immense enthusiasm were shouting ‘Bum-Bamb Bhole’ and ‘Jai Baba Kedar’. On this occasion, the soaked Shiva’s abode has been decorated with 108 quintals of flowers from the country and abroad.
Badrinath Dham doors will open on Sunday
On April 30, the doors of Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham were opened on the festival of Akshaya Tritiya. The doors of Badrinath Dham, which are included in the four dhams of Uttarakhand, will open on Sunday and with this, this year’s Chardham Yatra will be completely started.

Every year in winter, due to the severe cold, the doors of the four dhams are closed, which are again opened to the devotees in April-May next year. The doors of the temple are open for six months and during this time lakhs of devotees from all over the country and abroad reach to see these dhams. Last year, about 48 lakh devotees reached the Himalayan dhams.
After the opening of the kapat, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said, “Today we have also worshiped in the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Today issues like terrorism and separatism which are in front of us, Baba will give strength to our Prime Minister and will end the enemies, demons who do such incidents in Pahalgam.”
