Priyanka Gandhi on Anandu Aji Case: Congress General Secretary and central leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has demanded a thorough investigation into the allegations of serious sexual exploitation by the RSS in the case of suicide of 24-year-old youth Anandu Aji. Priyanka Gandhi wrote on her Twitter handle that Aji told in his suicide message that he had to face abuse by RSS members many times.
Priyanka Gandhi said that Aji was not the only victim and sexual abuse was widespread in RSS camps. He said that if these allegations are true then it is horrifying, because lakhs of youth and teenagers across India participate in these camps. He appealed to the RSS leadership to take immediate action and bring out the whole truth.

Priyanka Gandhi further said that sexual exploitation of boys is as serious a crime as exploitation of girls. He stressed that the trend of silence regarding these extremely condemnable crimes must be broken.
The matter took political color
After the suicide of Anandu Aji, this matter has turned into a political controversy. Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) state secretary V.K. Sanoj tried to politicize the matter and alleged that this voluntary organization was involved in the suicide of the youth.
V.K. Sanoj wrote in a Facebook post that Aji had shared his experiences, which included incidents of sexual harassment, physical assault and bullying by his colleagues and senior members. Anandu Aji was an active member of this organization and had taken its membership at the age of 14.
