The land dispute that has been going on for the last several days in Paonta Sahib of Sirmaur district reached a new turn today. Great Khali alias Dilip Rana had made serious allegations against the Tehsildar and the department, but now Tehsildar Rishabh Sharma has put forward the entire matter with evidence and documents. In the press conference, he clearly said that Khali’s allegations are false and misleading.

Making a big revelation, the Tehsildar said that Khali bought land number 8 near Batamandi, but today he is occupying land number 6. He said that the department called Khali several times for demarcation, but he did not appear even once. Due to this the dispute deepened further.
Rishabh Sharma said that in the last 50 days, no valid document was given to the department by Khali. He said that if the land is yours then provide proof. Being a celebrity does not make one above the law. He said that the department kept giving time continuously, but only allegations were made by Khali, there was no proof.

During the press conference, the Tehsildar clearly said that he is working honestly and will not come under any kind of pressure. He stressed that the law is equal for everyone. Be it a common citizen or a big celebrity like Great Khali.
After this counterattack by the Tehsildar, there is every possibility that the matter will heat up further. On one hand they are claiming the vacant land as theirs, while on the other hand the department is saying that the occupation is at the wrong place. Now how the action progresses will be decided in the coming days. This statement clearly shows that the matter has now become not just a matter of land, but a battle of law versus celebrity pressure.
