From the World Economic Forum in Davos, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky commented on Iran and its supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, to which Tehran responded befittingly. Zelensky had called for the ouster of Khamenei from power in Iran. Iranian Foreign Minister posted on Abbas Araghchi
Zelensky’s comment about Khamenei
Abbas Araghchi bluntly said that Iran protects itself with its own soldiers and not with mercenary armies. Zelensky said in Davos, ‘There has been a lot of violence during the protests in Iran, but the international community did not react to it as it should have. If a strict stance is not taken on this, a wrong message will be sent to dictators around the world.
Zelensky filling the pockets of corrupt generals: Iran
Abbas Araghchi posted on X and said, ‘Zelensky is filling the pockets of his corrupt generals by looting American and European taxpayers’ money. They appeal to the United Nations against the attacks being carried out on them and support those who violate international law. He (Zelensky) is openly and shamelessly calling for an illegal US attack against Iran in violation of the same UN Charter.

Abbas Araghchi called Zelensky a clown
The Iranian Foreign Minister said, ‘The world is now fed up with the words of clowns like Zelensky who spread illusions. Iran does not rely on any foreign support or mercenary armies, but protects its sovereignty itself.
In Davos, US President Donald Trump said that the reason for the failure to reach an agreement between Ukraine and Russia is the same old problems due to which talks have not been able to move forward for many months. Trump said both Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky now appear ready for a deal, but he did not predict a major breakthrough.
