Khelo India University Games 2025: The grand inauguration of Khelo India University Games 2025 took place on Tuesday in the historical backdrop of Amer Fort. During this, the logo, anthem, torch, mascot and jersey of the tournament were launched. Rajasthan Sports Minister Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore inaugurated this program. On this occasion, he said, “This is not an occasion for launching but a launching pad.”
Rajasthan will host Khelo India University Games
Colonel Rathod said that this time Rajasthan has got the hosting of Khelo India University Games, which is a matter of pride for the state. The tournament will be organized from 24 November to 5 December 2025. During this period, about 7000 players from 200 universities across the country will participate.
About two dozen sports events will be included in these games. At the same time, this time four new sports have also been given a place in the competition for the first time, due to which a lot of enthusiasm is being seen among the players.
Logo and anthem decorated in Rajasthani theme
The logo of this time’s Khelo India University Games is completely based on Rajasthani theme, in which a glimpse of the culture, folk art and traditions of Rajasthan can be seen. At the same time, a glimpse of Rajasthan can be seen in the anthem song, to which famous singer Swaroop Khan has given his voice.
The beauty of Rajasthan is reflected in the mascot and jersey
The mascots launched at the event are a symbol of the hospitality and colorful culture of Rajasthan. Through these, a message was given to welcome the players and guests coming from all over the country in the style of ‘Come to our country’.
At the same time, the jersey design has also been prepared with the colors and enthusiasm of sports, in which a beautiful mixture of the traditional colors of Rajasthan is visible.
Amer Fort danced in the program
Amer Fort echoed with music and culture during the launching ceremony. The presentation of Rajasthani folk dances and folk songs on the stage made the atmosphere even more grand.
At the end of the program, Colonel Rathore said, “Rajasthan is feeling proud to host the Khelo India University Games. It is a matter of pride for the entire Rajasthan. The government and the people here are eager to warmly welcome the players coming from all over the country.”
