North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un has reached China. He will take part in the huge military parade to be held in Beijing and during this time an important meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping. The most interesting aspect is that Kim Jong Un traveled from his famous green -colored train Sunshine instead of an airplane. He left Pyongyang on Monday (1 September 2025) and reached Beijing on Tuesday (2 September 2025) after a journey of about 20 hours.
According to the Yonhap news agency in South Korea, Kim’s train is a moving fort. This train is so strong that even the bullet and bomb do not affect it. However, its speed is only 60 kilometers per hour, which is much slower than the airplane.
Facilities in train are not less than a luxury hotel
The facilities present in Kim Jong Un’s armored train Sunshine are no less than a luxury hotel. It has a great comfortable bedroom. There is a meeting room, which has red-pink leather chairs. Apart from this, the walls have decorative lighting, restaurant coaches and special systems and contact facilities for safety. It is said that Kim travels with 10 to 15 coaches of his train. In which compartment they are present, only a few people are aware of this. They are always accompanied by a team of doctors and bulletproof cars.
Train tradition of train travel
This habit of Kim Jong Un is not new. His father Kim Jong-Il was afraid of an airplane, so he always traveled long distance by train. The same tradition has now been carried forward by Kim Jong Un. In 2019, he traveled 4,500 km train via China for a summit with Donald Trump in Hanoi, which lasted for two and a half days. In the train, there are often laptops, special cigarettes and many phones on their tables on their table. There are blue and golden curtains on the windows. However, Kim is not afraid of air travel. In 2018, he traveled by plane for the first summit with Trump in Singapore.
Historical presence in Beijing
Kim Jong Un will join the 26 world leaders who will participate in the military parade of Beijing. This will be Kim’s first appearance in a major multilateral international program.
