There has been no update regarding where he got injured and how his health is now.

Akashdeep has a long history with injuries as he has been active in the Indian Premier League for the last four seasons, but due to injuries, he has been able to play only 14 matches in his IPL career, in which he has only 10 wickets to his name. Last season, Lucknow Super Giants signed him for Rs 8 crore, but LSG released him after just one season.
