IND vs Eng: Indian opener KL Rahul said after the fourth day of the first Test match of the five-match Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy against England, that the ‘blockbuster’ result is awaited tomorrow.
India gave England a target of 371 runs to win from wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant (118 runs) and Rahul (137 runs), which scored 21 runs without losing wickets till the stump.
Rahul said after the match, “Tomorrow ‘blockbuster finish’ is awaited. When the Test started, I felt that it is a good wicket of batting and it will move towards the draw, but the wicket is changing, it is broken. Cracks should be opened tomorrow. ”
On asking that when Pant plays a strange shot, what happens to him, Rahul said, “Just keep quiet.” I have played some partnerships with him but it is difficult for us to understand his mindset. But you should keep them batting in the same way. You should talk to them, keep them calm. ,
Talking about his batting, he said, “Not much has changed for me, just now I am scoring runs.” I could not make the beginning a big score. But now many things have changed. I am calm and do not pay attention to numbers. I have spent a lot of time with Abhishek Nair. ”
Rahul said, “Whenever I get a chance to play for the country, I want to do my best. It is fantastic to get opportunities again and again. ,
Talking about the last day, he said, “Tomorrow the result will come out, this will be an interesting day. The wicket is not easy as the first innings. We will try to create as much pressure as possible. ,
