Virat kohli fir: The historic victory of Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2025 caused a stampede outside the M Chinnaswamy Stadium the next day, in which 11 people lost their lives. In this case, the RCB franchise has announced a compensation of Rs 10 lakh to the families of all 11 people who died in the incident. At the same time, FIR has been lodged against many other parties including RCB franchisee. Meanwhile, an FIR has also been reported against Virat Kohli.

HM Venkatesh, a social worker, tried to file a complaint against Virat Kohli at Kabban Park police station. Venkatesh alleged that Virat has promoted gambling through ‘IPL’. Along with this, it was alleged that Virat has a hand in the stampede outside the ground and legal action should be taken against him.

Did the case file against Virat Kohli?

According to the news agency ANI, the police say that the complaint of HM Venkatesh will be reviewed, but a separate FIR has not been registered against Virat Kohli yet. Let us tell you that after the incident outside the Chinnaswamy Stadium, the topic of ‘Arrest Kohli’ was started on social media.

So far 4 people have been arrested in the Bengaluru stampede case. These include the name of Nikhil Sosale, a senior officer from Royal Challengers Bangalore, besides him, people associated with 3 event management have fallen. An FIR was also lodged against the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA), the case has become so serious that KSCA secretary A Shankar and ES Jairam have resigned from their respective posts citing moral responsibility in the stampede case.
