Virat Kohli has retired from Test cricket a few days ago. He has already said goodbye to T20 format, in such a situation, he will be seen playing only ODI cricket. In a recent interview to news agency PTI, Owaisi praised Virat, “Hey, we are a tremendous player. We will always be deprived of his cover drive. The way he puts shots over the bowlers’ heads, he was amazing. Hey is a great player, a tremendous player.” Asaduddin Owaisi further said that more players like Virat Kohli will be born. They say that there is no shortage of talent in India.
Comparison with Mohammad Azharuddin
Asaduddin Owaisi said that if he had continued to play cricket, he could have played in big leagues. He could earn a big name like Hyderabadi players like VVS Laxman, Mohammad Azharuddin, but he refused to compare himself with great cricketers like Azharuddin. Owaisi says that he used to be just a small bowler than a great player like Azharuddin.
After playing the South Zone Inter-University under-25 cricket, the Vizi Trophy was selected in 1994. The Viji Trophy used to be a big level tournament for university teams.
