The future of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma is constantly under discussion in Indian cricket. There is news that the relationship between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir is deteriorating, the reason for this is being said to be the differences arising between the two on some important issues. According to a report by NDTV, Rohit Sharma has agreed to play in the trophy in the domestic tournament Vijay Hazare Tournament. But Virat Kohli has refused to play in the domestic tournament.

According to NDTV, a source said, “The center of the problem is the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Kohli does not want to play in this tournament. When Rohit Sharma is ready to play, how can there be an exception for one player. If this happens, what will we say to other players? That one particular player is different from all of you?”

Rohit Sharma can be seen playing for Mumbai not only in Vijay Hazare Trophy but he can also be seen playing for Mumbai in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. On the other hand, Kohli is not in favor of too much preparation. In such a situation, a complex problem has arisen in front of BCCI, because it is in no mood to change any rule just for one player.

It is also worth noting that BCCI’s selection committee and head coach Gautam Gambhir have been continuously asking the players to remain active in domestic cricket. It was only after BCCI’s request that Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli had to play Ranji Trophy matches after their poor performance on the Australian tour.

Amidst this entire controversy, both Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have proved their form. Rohit Sharma had scored a century in the series against Australia, while in the first ODI against South Africa he played a half-century of 57 runs. Whereas Virat Kohli had played a brilliant inning of 74 runs in the last ODI against Australia and 135 runs in the first ODI against South Africa.
