Actor and film critic Kamal Rashid Khan alias KRK was recently arrested by Oshiwara police in connection with the firing. Now the news is that the Andheri Metropolitan Magistrate Court has granted bail to the actor in this case. In lieu of this bail, Kamal R Khan will have to pay a fine of Rs 25 thousand. KRK got this bail on January 30.
Even before this, on January 28, KRK’s bail plea was rejected in the court. Being a high profile case, Mumbai Police is engaged in in-depth investigation of this case. After the actor’s police remand ended, he was to be sent to judicial custody. Regarding the matter, the police said that during interrogation, KRK had confessed that the firing was done from his gun. However, KRK and his lawyer rejected this outright.
