Kuldeep Yadav is included in the Indian team for 5 Test matches on England tour. He has not got a chance to play in the first 3 Tests. Kuldeep Yadav’s coach Kapil Pandey has said that India is to win more important than Kuldeep’s playing.
Talking to IANS, Kapil Pandey said that playing Kuldeep is not as important as the country to win. Team India is doing well. Initially it was thought that Kuldeep would get a place in the playing XI, but, the fast bowlers performed well and took out the wicket. Therefore, they have not been able to get a chance yet.
He said that Kuldeep is in the best form. His performance in the Champions Trophy, World Cup was excellent. I think Kuldeep is not getting a place due to batting, but, so far the team has lost the matches due to the batsmen in the series. The bowlers have performed well. You cannot expect 100 runs from Jaspreet Bumrah or Kuldeep Yadav.
Kapil Pandey said that he had a conversation with Kuldeep. They are advised to stay fit and to play, play and perform their best whenever they get a chance. Kuldeep is currently the best spinner in the country.
Kuldeep Yadav is counted not only among the best spinners in India but also in the world. In every format, he has done well for the country. He has got very little a chance to play Tests. Kuldeep has played 13 Tests so far, taking 56 wickets.
Kuldeep Yadav has also worked on his batting in recent times, but, as a spinner and batsman Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar, they are not getting a chance.
