Pakistan-kuwait visa ban: In 2011, Kuwait imposed a visa on several countries including Pakistan for security reasons. The reason for this ban was considered as regional instability and terrorism, but now the Kuwait government has lifted this ban with immediate effect, making new employment opportunities for the citizens of Pakistan. Now Pakistani citizens can apply for work visa, family visit, business visa and tourist visa.

The government of Kuwait is currently looking towards foreign workers to improve the health sector and complete labor demand. According to reports, it is planned to appoint 1200 Pakistani nurses. For this, Kuwait has simplified and intensified the visa process. Jobs are being opened in IT, construction, general labor and other sectors, especially for Pakistani citizens.
