39-year-old Adam Lopez, resident of Wayne County, Michigan, worked as a forklift driver. One day he suddenly bought a lottery ticket from a convenience store and the wheel of fortune turned. He got the jackpot and the winning amount was Rs 17 crore. Lopez couldn’t believe it at first, but when she got this news confirmed from her mother, she believed that her life was going to change completely. Adam quit his job after winning the lottery. Initially he said that he would invest this amount in savings so that his future would be secure. But the sudden huge amount of money changed his thinking. According to reports, Adam bought expensive cars, went on trips and indulged in constant partying. This sequence continued for about three months.
Then this serious illness happened, spent days in the hospital, now I regained consciousness.
The consequences of excessive partying and ignoring health turned out to be serious. He had to be hospitalized in September. Doctors told that he had bilateral pulmonary embolism. This is a dangerous disease in which the blood clot deposited in the leg reaches the lungs. Adam’s condition had become so bad that he was not able to even walk and was having trouble breathing. 39-year-old Lopez has now decided that he will focus on recovery for the coming 6 to 9 months. He said that now my priority is only health. I may have made a mistake in the beginning, but this experience made me understand that the real joy of living life lies only in good health.
