An important news has come out for the candidates associated with the medical field in Andhra Pradesh. APMSRB is recruiting for the posts of Assistant Professor. The last date to apply for this recruitment has been fixed today, i.e. 23rd February. In such a situation, the candidates who have not been able to apply till now.
A total of 145 posts will be filled under this recruitment. These posts are in different subjects and departments. Clinical, non-clinical and super specialty departments have been included in the recruitment process, so that the shortage of teachers in all areas can be met.
Complete details of subject wise posts
According to the information released, 18 posts have been earmarked in English subject, 14 posts in Hindi and 21 posts in History. 18 posts have been kept for Political Science, 13 each for Economics and Geography. Apart from this, there are 9 posts in Education subject, 6-6 in Commerce and Mathematics, 6 in Zoology, 5-5 in Botany and Physics. 7 posts have been fixed in Chemistry, 2 posts each in Sociology and Anthropology. Some posts have also been reserved for disabled candidates.
In this recruitment, representation has been ensured for reserved categories and disabled candidates as per the rules. It has been made clear by the government that full care will be taken to provide equal opportunities to all sections.
What is the eligibility condition
To apply for the post of Assistant Professor, the candidate must have a postgraduate medical degree from an institute recognized by the National Medical Commission. This includes degrees like MD, MS, DNB, DM, MCh or DRNB. It is mandatory to complete one year senior residency after postgraduate degree for clinical and non-clinical subjects. However, this condition will not be applicable for super specialty posts.
Registration and other necessary conditions
The candidate must have valid registration with Andhra Pradesh Medical Council. Along with this, the candidates will also have to fulfill the rules related to local candidates of the state. It is advised to read all these conditions carefully before applying.
