An important update has come for the youth who are dreaming of getting a job in Gujarat Police. The last date of application for the recruitment of PSI and constable cadre by Gujarat Police Recruitment Board is nearing. There will be recruitment in PSI and constable cadre.
Under Gujarat Police Recruitment 2025, appointments will be made on a total of 13,591 posts. These include posts like Police Sub Inspector, Constable, Jail Constable and Jailer Group-2. The recruitment process has been released separately for both PSI cadre and Lok Rakshak cadre. A total of 858 posts will be filled under Police Sub Inspector cadre. This includes 659 posts of Unarmed Police Sub Inspector, 129 posts of Armed Police Sub Inspector and 70 posts of Jailer Group-2. Graduation degree has been made mandatory for these posts. Whereas under constable and jail constable cadre, maximum recruitment will be done on 12,733 posts. These include 6,942 posts of Un-Armed Police Constable, 2,458 posts of Armed Police Constable, Armed Police Constable (SRPF) The 3,002 posts include 300 posts for Jail Constable Men and 31 posts for Jail Constable Women. 12th pass candidates can apply for these posts.
Age Limit and Selection Process
The minimum age for recruitment has been fixed at 18 years. Whereas the maximum age varies according to the post. Generally, the maximum age for constable posts has been kept at 33 years and for PSI posts it has been kept at 35 years. Reserved category candidates will be given age relaxation as per government rules. The candidates will be selected in three phases. First the Physical Efficiency Test and then the Physical Standard Test will be taken. After this there will be a written examination. Document verification will be done in the last stage. Apart from this, the selected police sub-inspector will get a salary ranging from Rs 29,200 to Rs 92,300 per month. The salary for police constable posts has been fixed at Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100 per month.

- After this, registration will have to be done through OTR credentials.
- Now after logging in, you will have to fill all the information asked in the application form.
- After uploading the photo, signature and necessary documents, the form will have to be submitted.
