ICC Rankings Latest Update: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the latest ranking of teams, in which Pakistan has suffered a big loss in not one but three formats. The Pak team has suffered the brunt of a very poor performance, causing a loss of one place in the T20I rankings. On the other hand, Team India remains the world’s number-1 team in 2 out of three formats.
Pakistan’s bad condition
In the T20 rankings, the Pakistan team has fallen down one place to eighth place, while Sri Lanka has beaten it to 7th. Looking at the ODI rankings, the Pak team has slipped to fifth place, here too, he has been defeated from Sri Lanka and has occupied the fourth place. Talking about Test cricket, Pakistan is currently ranked 7th in the ranking. Overall, Pakistan is not even named in the top-4 rankings of any of the three formats.
The Pakistan team did not reach the Super-8 stage of the 2024 T20 World Cup last year. Despite being the host, Pakistan could not make it to the semi -finals of the Champions Trophy. The recent performance of the Pak team in the Test has not been special.
Team India remains intact
In the latest rankings released by the ICC, the Indian team remains alive. India remains the number-1 country in the world in T20 and ODI rankings. However, the Indian team has suffered a loss in the test. Team India has slipped to fourth place in the Test rankings. India has suffered this loss due to defeat in the Test series against New Zealand and Australia. In the Test, England took a big jump and captured the second place.
