Gangster Anmol Bishnoi, the main accused in the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddiqui, is being brought to India from America. He is likely to be brought to Delhi on Wednesday (19 November 2025) morning. He is also wanted in the case related to the firing at the house of Bollywood actor Salman Khan in April 2024. Mumbai Police had sent two proposals regarding Bishnoi’s extradition.
Who is Anmol Bishnoi?
Anmol is the brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi lodged in Sabarmati Central Jail of Ahmedabad. Indian agencies are searching for him in many serious cases. NIA had announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh on him. The US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) told Zeeshan Siddiqui, son of NCP leader Baba Siddiqui, that Anmol Bishnoi, the main conspirator in his father’s murder, has been deported from America. Anmol was also responsible for every operation of the Loresh gang.

The investigating agency had filed a charge sheet against him in the year 2023.

Cases have been registered against Anmol Bishnoi in many states of the country including Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi and Maharashtra for murder, attempt to murder, extortion, possession of dangerous weapons and involvement in organized crime. There are more than 32 criminal cases registered against Anmol across the country, out of which 20 cases are in Rajasthan. Anmol Bishnoi has served his sentence in Jodhpur jail. He was released on 7 October 2021.

He often came to Canada from America. The officer said that he allegedly had a Russian passport, which he had obtained on the basis of forged documents. Former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddiqui was shot dead in front of the office of his son Zeeshan in Bandra on the night of October 12, 2024. Many people associated with the gang of Anmol’s elder brother Lawrence Bishnoi (who is in jail) were arrested in the Baba Siddiqui murder case.
