Gangster Anmol Bishnoi, considered the main conspirator of the murder of former minister and NCP leader Baba Siddiqui, will be brought to India on Wednesday (19 November 2025). Senior officials have confirmed that after being deported by the US authorities, he will be brought to Delhi’s IGI Airport at 10 am.
Police team will be deployed at Delhi airport
According to officials, several teams of Delhi Police will be deployed at the airport to complete security, paperwork and legal processes. A senior officer said, “Discussion is going on in Delhi Police Headquarters as to which agency will formally arrest him and take further custody. The decision will be taken only after he is produced in the court.”
According to investigators, there are more than 32 criminal cases registered against Anmol Bishnoi across the country, out of which 20 cases are in Rajasthan. These cases are related to serious crimes like ransom, kidnapping, attempt to murder and target killing. Officials said that the central government will decide which agency’s custody he will be sent to first.
Zeeshan Siddiqui’s reaction
Baba Siddiqui’s son Zeeshan Siddiqui received an email from the US authorities on Tuesday (18 November 2025), which said, “Anmol Bishnoi was deported from the US.” Zeeshan said, “I don’t know where he is at the moment, but they have told that he has been removed from America and the further process will take place in India.”
According to sources, Mumbai Police Crime Branch had sent official applications to Anmol twice for deportation and custody. Recently, Interpol had also asked for documents related to his identity, which were provided by Mumbai Police. Anmol Bishnoi is also wanted in the case of firing outside the house of actor Salman Khan in Bandra on 14 April 2024. He had claimed responsibility for this attack online.
Mastermind of Baba Siddiqui’s murder
Anmol Bishnoi was revealed as the main conspirator behind the murder of Baba Siddiqui on 12 October 2024. During investigation, the police found voice clips from the arrested shooters which matched Anmol’s voice, in which he was heard giving instructions and instigating the attackers. Investigation revealed that Anmol had fled India several years ago using a fake passport and kept roaming in Canada, America and Kenya.
Anmol Bishnoi was detained in California last year, but was released due to procedural flaws. Information has also come to light that he has a Russian passport, which is suspected to be fake. He is also believed to be linked to the international conspiracy to murder Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala.
NIA had declared a reward of Rs 10 lakh on his arrest. NIA has also filed a charge sheet against him in two cases related to the gang’s international activities. After the completion of the deportation process by the American authorities, Indian agencies are now preparing for a joint operation at IGI Airport.
