The reason for this is that the heat emanating from these devices spoils the performance of the mobile battery and reduces the age of the battery in a long time.
Short circuit or blast danger

Overcharging and warm surface combination can cause short circuit or blast along with damage to the battery. Such cases have been revealed earlier, where the houses caught fire due to negligence.
Where and how to charge?
In such a situation, it is advisable that while charging the mobile, always keep it in a flat and cold place. During charging, avoid keeping the phone under pillow, mattress or any cloth, as it does not get out heat and there is a risk of battery bursting. Also, do not use fake or local charger at all. These charger neither gives the battery the right voltage nor do they have the necessary features for safety.
