Atal Library located in Sector-12, Faridabad was inaugurated twice on the same day. On December 28, BJP’s Union Minister of State Krishnapal Gurjar and Haryana Government’s Revenue Minister Vipul Goyal cut the ribbon at different times.
The official invitation for the inauguration of the Atal Library built in the Town Park at a cost of about Rs 3.85 crore was issued by the District Information and Public Relations Department. In the invitation, Union Minister Krishnapal Gurjar was mentioned as the chief guest. The presence of Rajya Sabha MP Surendra Singh Nagar, Industries Minister Rao Narveer, Revenue Minister Vipul Goyal and Mayor Praveen Joshi was proposed in the program. The situation changed due to various political programs from the morning of 28th December.

Surendra Nagar attended Vipul Goyal’s program in Sector-16, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ was collectively heard. After this, at around 12.30 pm, Vipul Goyal, Surendra Nagar, Minister of State for Food and Supplies Rajesh Nagar and Mayor Praveen Joshi reached Sector-12. Here he inaugurated the Atal Library.
How did the second inauguration happen?
Between 2.30 and 3 pm, Union Minister of State Krishnapal Gurjar reached the inauguration site along with some MLAs. The officials tied the ribbon again upon his arrival. After this, Gurjar cut the ribbon and re-inaugurated Atal Library. The special thing was that both the leaders said that they were unaware of the information about the inauguration done by each other. The stage, program and formalities remained almost the same, which created confusion among the people present on the spot.
