Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan stressed the need to adopt Hindi language at the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the State Language Department at GMC Balayogi Stadium located in Gachchibovali, Hyderabad.

He said that the influence of Hindi is continuously increasing in the field of education, employment and business, so its blindfire is not appropriate. He called upon people to leave narrow thinking about language and take steps towards progress.

Abdul Kalam used to love Hindi even after Tamil

Pawan Kalyan said, ‘We go abroad and learn the languages there, then why is there so much fear from Hindi. We talk easily in English, but why is it hesitant to speak Hindi. Giving the example of former President Abdul Kalam, he said that he used to love Hindi despite being Tamil.

He further said that we should not connect cultural pride with linguistic bigotry. If mother tongue is like mother, Hindi is like our grandmother. Adopting the second language does not end its identity, but it gives us a chance to move forward together.

Destruction of Hindi is a threat to future

He appealed to think in the interest of the next generation except the politicization of the language. He said, ‘Rejecting Hindi is like closing the doors of future opportunities. Adopting Hindi will open new avenues of employment and education.

Opportunities told the decision of Andhra Pradesh government

Recently, the Government of Andhra Pradesh has announced a plan to promote Hindi as an alternative subject in schools. Pawan Kalyan, while supporting this initiative, said that this step will make the youth competitive at national and international level. He also informed that the government is considering starting training programs for Hindi teachers, so that quality education is ensured.

He appealed to the people present at the ceremony to make the language a medium of unity, not the division. This ceremony is considered an important step for the promotion and conservation of Hindi language.
