Sanjay Nirupam wrote a letter to the police
Earlier on Thursday (September 11), Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam demanded police action against Sanjay Raut to comment on social media in connection with the ongoing civil unrest in Nepal. In a letter to the Versova police, Nirupam alleged that Raut had said that similar disturbance can spread in India too. Nirupam said, “The purpose of such a statement is to create fear among the citizens and such comments are similar to rhetoric against the interests of the country. Raut’s comment is unconstitutional, dangerous and promoting instability. The police should register a criminal case against Raut for his anti-national remarks.
51 people killed in Gen Z violence in Nepal
