So, whom to trust and how much to trust? Whether it is true or not. Why should we get involved in this? Especially at my age. I don’t want to get involved. Live in peace, this is our country. just be happy. That’s all I can say.’
Waheeda further said, ‘Work keeps going up and down. After a certain age people say to bring in someone new. For this reason some people are left behind. If they have reached a very high level and they will stay there and take only them, this also does not happen, right? It keeps going up and down. There is nothing new like this.
AR Rahman had said this
Let us tell you that AR Rahman had given an interview to BBC Asian Network some time ago. In this he had said, ‘There has been a power shift in Bollywood in the last eight years. Now power is with those who are not creative. I have got less work in Bollywood in the last eight years. This could also be a communal thing. People don’t say it in front of me. I heard in a whisper that they had booked me for some work but the music company later hired 5 of their own composers. I think it is good, this way I will get a chance to spend time with my family.
There was a lot of controversy after this statement of AR Rahman.
