Love jihad case in Bhopal: After continuous revelations in cases related to love jihad in Madhya Pradesh, now the state government has accelerated the action by taking a tough stand. The police headquarters has formed a state level special investigation team (SIT) to investigate sensitive cases like love jihad, rape and forced conversion that surfaced across the state. This team will be led by IG Abhay Singh of Bhopal Rural. He will be accompanied by Additional Police Commissioner Pankaj Srivastava of Bhopal Police Commissionerate and three senior officers of Police Headquarters.

This SIT will not only investigate, but will also work for monitoring and coordination of such cases. The team will especially keep an eye on cases where the women were implicated in a love trap by hiding religion, raped or forced to convert.

National Women’s Commission team also in Bhopal

A special team of the National Commission for Women has also been present in the capital for the last three days to investigate the high-profile love jihad case in Bhopal. This team is being led by former DGP Nirmal Kaur. The team has talked to different victims of this case and police team investigating the case, along with the National Women’s Commission team has also visited TIT College. On Monday, this team will inspect Club 90 in Bhopal, which is being considered the center of the current case.

Meanwhile, the Human Rights Commission has questioned the delay in filing the complaint, questioning the role of Bhopal Police. The Commission has sought clarification in this regard from the police. According to the commission member Priyank Kanungo, so far 7 victims have come out and this number may increase further in the coming days. On Sunday, a victim appeared before the Commission, after which the Commission recommended adding sections of organized crime in the concerned FIR.

Case of trapping a girl with fake identity in Damoh

A shocking case related to love jihad has also come up in Damoh district of the state. The accused youth Israel Khan, using a fake Aadhaar card, had booked a room in a lodge, calling himself Shiva Sharma. There he stopped with a young woman. Investigation has revealed that the accused has got evidence of relations with three women from the mobile and chatting with more than 12 women.

The police suspect that this case may also be related to love jihad. During interrogation, the accused confessed that he used to take information from the girl students from the photo copy shops and trap them in his trap. At present, the Damoh police has registered a case on the basis of fake documents. CSP Abhishek Tiwari said that if a complaint is received from the victims, then further action will be taken. The investigation of the case has now been handed over to the ATS.

Will punish the culprits such, will not dare to do so again – Minister Vishwas Sarang

In the case, the state cabinet minister Vishwas Sarang said that the government will not tolerate the cases of love jihad, in such cases, girls are being organized in an organized manner. He said that by examining such cases, the culprits will be punished in such a way, which no one will dare further.
