A shocking case has come to light in Katni district of Madhya Pradesh. Here a gang of thieves, targeting four government schools of Barwara police station area, stole four LPG gas cylinders. After which there was panic in the entire area. Because on one hand, people are troubled by the shortage of LPG across the country due to the Iran-Israel war. Now this incident has increased the headache for the police.
Police have registered a case and started investigation and have also given instructions to increase security in schools. The school principal has also lodged a written complaint in this regard. Because now children’s midday meal may be in danger.
What is the whole matter?
According to the information, the principal of the district’s government secondary school, Bhajiya Vidyalaya, has lodged a written complaint in the police station that thieves broke the lock of the school during the night and stole 4 filled gas cylinders kept there. The same night the gang also stole a cylinder from Bhajiya Kanya Shala. A written complaint of theft of 3 cylinders from Government Secondary School, Purcell has also been given to the police. Thieves also raided Government Secondary School, Panshokhar and made away with the cylinders.
Police started investigation
Amidst the increasing shortage of cylinders, the district administration has opened a front against black marketing. The administration is taking strict action and is continuously taking action, but these thefts happening in schools have raised questions on the security system.
Seeing the seriousness of the matter on Tuesday, Katni Superintendent of Police Abhinav Vishwakarma said, information has been received about theft of cylinders from various schools. FIR is being registered in all the cases. Police teams are active and soon this gang will be exposed and the accused will be sent behind the bars.
