Maa box office collection day 5: Kajol starrer Mach Aweded Mythological Horror film ‘Maa’ was released in theaters on 27 June. The film has received a positive review from the audience and the critics. Along with this, after a good start, it also earned a strong earning on the opening weekend. At the same time, after passing the litmus test of Monday, ‘Maa’ also showed a boom at the box office on the 5th day i.e. the first Tuesday. How much collection did ‘mother’ collect on the 5th day of release?
Directed by Vishal Furia, ‘Maa’ is a supernatural thriller in which Kajol has played the lead role. This film is getting positive response from the audience. The special thing is that ‘Maa’ is performing well at the box office in front of Aamir Khan’s stars on the ground. The film had strengthened its grip on the ticket window on the very first day. After this, it also printed a lot of notes on the opening weekend. Although the film’s earnings were also recorded on the first Monday, but it again increased its pace on Tuesday and earned well.
Talking about the collection of the film so far, ‘Maa’ earned 4.65 crores on the first day i.e. Friday. After this, the film collected 6 crores on Saturday and 7 crores on Sunday. However, the film saw a decline of 64% on Monday, earning Rs 2.5 crore.

With a total collection of five days, ‘Maa’ has now officially joined the list of Kajol’s top 10 highest grossing films.
Currently, at 10th place, the film is only a few crores away from his 1997 hit Ishq. Ishq’s lifetime collection was Rs 24.8 crore. Further in the benchmark list, Salman Khan-Shahrukh Khan starrer Arjun is an estimated earning of Rs 25.75 crore. Now what ‘mother’ will be able to beat the lifetime collection of Rs 46.88 crore of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, it is yet to be seen, but after Salaam Venky (2022), Kajol has made a solid comeback with this film. Due to continuous word-off-mouth, mother is now ready to cross the Rs 25 crore mark in the coming days.
