According to media reports, there was a big dispute between Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Deepika Padukone. This dispute regarding fees and working shifts continued for a long time. According to reports, Deepika Padukone was going to play the role of main lead actress in Prabhas starrer film ‘Spirit’. But later it was told that due to limited working shifts and demand of a fee of Rs 40 crore, Sandeep Reddy Vanga dropped the actress from the film.
Although Deepika Padukone had accused the filmmaker, Sandeep Reddy Vanga rejected her saying that he did not have the budget and he could pay higher fees to the male actors.

Madhuri Dixit’s thriller series ‘Mrs. Deshpande’ will stream on Jio Hotstar from December 19. It has been described as the official remake of the French thriller ‘La Monte’.
