MP SET Notification 2025: The wait of the students preparing for MP State Eligibility Test is finally over. Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission has released the notification for MP SET exam. Application forms for this will be out on October 25, 2025 and the last date to fill them is November 20, 2025.
To apply in this, interested candidates can register by visiting its official website and fill the online form. Also, in case of any mistake in the form, the correction window will remain open from October 30 to November 22. Apart from this, MPPSC has already declared the exam date. MP SET exam will be held on January 11, 2026. In such a situation, let us know all the details of this exam.
What is MP SET exam?
MP SET exam is a state level exam, which is conducted to recruit assistant professors in colleges and universities. There are two papers in this exam. In this, the first paper is of 100 marks and the second paper is of 200 marks. This time this exam is to be conducted in January 2026. To apply in this, the unreserved category has to pay an exam fee of Rs 540, whereas for the reserved category this fee is Rs 290. Apart from this, those filling late forms will have to pay late fees. Those who submit the form for this exam from November 21 to November 28, 2025, will have to pay a fee of Rs 3040. Those filling the form from November 29 till 10 days before the exam will have to pay a late fee of Rs 25,000.
Eligibility Criteria of MP SET
To appear for MP SET exam, candidates have to clear post graduate exam from any recognized university or institute. Interested candidates can apply for this exam in the last year or third and fourth year of their PG. Also, candidates are required to score minimum 55% marks in post graduation. In this exam, relaxation in marks is also given to reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD).
How to apply?
1. First of all, candidates have to go to the official website of MPPSC, mppsc.mp.gov.in.
2. Now select the option of MP SET (Madhya Pradesh State Eligibility Test) 2025 on the homepage.
3. Then after registration, fill the application form carefully.
4. After this all the documents have to be uploaded and the application fee has to be paid.
5. Finally, after reviewing all the details carefully, submit the form.
6. Remember to download a copy of the form.
