Maharashtra covid-19 case: Corona virus is growing rapidly across the country. On Sunday (June 1) in Maharashtra, 65 new cases of Kovid-19 were reported, due to which the total number of infected in the state has increased to 814 since January 1 this year.
According to the Health Department, in these 65 cases, 31 have been reported from Pune, 22 from Mumbai, 9 from Thane, 2 from Kolhapur and 1 from Nagpur. At this time there are a total of 506 active cases in the state, while 300 patients have recovered and recovered.
8 people died due to Corona- Health Department
According to the statement issued by the Health Department, so far this year, a total of 8 people have died of Kovid-19, out of which 7 were already other serious diseases. One of the dead had hypocalcemic seizures and nephrotic syndrome, the second had cancer, third seizures with a stroke, while another was pneumonia (LRTI) with diabetic ketooseidosis.
Apart from this, one person was suffering from interstitial lung disease, another had diabetes since 2014 and had a stroke, while the seventh had heart disease with serious Ards. The eighth deceased was a 47 -year -old woman, who had a complaint of fever and difficulty in breathing.
463 cases came up in Mumbai this year
Talking about Mumbai, a total of 463 cases of Kovid-19 have been reported in the metropolis since January 1. Of these, one case each in January and February, four in April and the highest number of 457 cases were registered in May. No case was registered in the city in March. It is clear from these figures that the infection in Mumbai caught up in the month of May.
A total of 11,501 Kovid-19 tests have been conducted in 2025 across the state so far, out of which 814 reports have been found positive. The Health Department has informed that in all infected patients, symptoms are of common nature and regular treatment is being provided to them. At present, the state government is monitoring the situation and people are being appealed to take precautions.
