Vice-captain Smriti Mandhana, Radha Yadav and Jemimah Rodriguez, who were part of the World Cup winning team, were honored by the Maharashtra government. All three players contributed significantly to India’s victory in the World Cup. This program was organized in Mumbai, where state Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also handed over award checks to the three players.
All three players got Rs 2.5 crore each
Along with honouring, the Chief Minister of the state also handed over a check of Rs 2.5 crore each to the three players. Let us tell you that all three players are from Mumbai city. Almost every state honored its players and announced prize money for them.
The Maharashtra government also honored head coach Amol Muzumdar along with these three players included in the World Cup winning team and gave them a check of Rs 25 lakh. 50 year old Amol is also from Mumbai.

Jemima played a historic inning in the semi-final against Australia
Jemima had scored a historic century in the World Cup semi-finals, in this match against Australia she had scored unbeaten 127 runs. Chasing 339 runs, India won the match by 5 wickets. This innings of Jemima will be remembered for years. Jemima had scored 292 runs in 7 innings played in the World Cup.
Vice-captain Smriti Mandhana played an important inning of 45 runs in the World Cup final, she played 2 half-centuries and 1 century in the tournament. He scored 109 runs against New Zealand, while against England and Australia he scored 88 and 80 runs respectively. Mandhana had scored 434 runs in 9 matches in the tournament.
Radha Yadav is one of the most brilliant fielders in women’s cricket, although she played only the last match in the league stage of the World Cup. He took 3 wickets for 30 runs against Bangladesh. He got 1 wicket in the semi-finals and no wicket in the final.
