Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde has said that under the Ladki Bahin scheme, the amount received by women every month will be increased soon, which is going to benefit millions of women. In fact, the state government has announced to increase the monthly assistance from Rs 1500 to Rs 2100 under the Ladki Bahin scheme. In such a situation, many women are waiting for it. Eknath Shinde has said that as soon as the economic condition of the state is correct, the money received under this scheme will be increased.
These women get benefit
The Maharashtra government has also fixed some terms and conditions for assistance received under the Ladki Bahin scheme. Under this, only those women can take advantage of this scheme, whose monthly income of the family is less than Rs 2.5 lakh. Even if a member in the family pays income tax, then the benefit of this scheme will not be available. Even if the woman is being given financial assistance from any other department of the government, then the benefit of this scheme will not be available. If a family member is in a government job or works in an organization under the government, then such women will not be eligible under the Ladki sister scheme.
