In the Vice Presidential election, the opposition India alliance suffered a major setback. It is claimed that in this election, some MPs of the parties involved in the India alliance cross voting or they spoiled their votes. Meanwhile, Eknath Shinde’s party Shiv Sena has claimed that five MPs of Uddhav Thackeray faction were in touch with us at the time of voting. He voted for NDA candidate CP Radhakrishnan.

Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam said, “MPs of Sharad Pawar faction also voted for NDA. How many MPs voted for us are not known. The opposition had 324 votes, but the opposition got only 300 votes. The opposition will no longer cry for vote theft after this election. ”

Sanjay Nirupam raised questions

Nirupam said, “Since morning, the opposition leaders were making different claims. The atmosphere was maintained that the NDA votes would be shattered, but after the result, the number of NDA should get more voting. The NDA got 16 votes more while 15 votes were canceled or many people were not present. YSRCP supported NDA. Whose votes are 16, this is now a question. ‘

What did Sanjay Raut say?

On the claims of the ruling party, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut claimed that we got all our votes. We had 315 figures and we have met. 15 votes have been rejected. I do not know the reasons for this.

Radhakrishnan got a total of 452 and opposition candidate B.K. Sudarshan Reddy got 300 votes. Out of a total of 781 members, 767 voted, with 15 votes declared illegal. The opposition said that Surdarshan Reddy will get at least 320 votes, but getting 300 votes is a big setback for India alliance.

After the Vice Presidential election result, BJP MP Sanjay Jaiswal said that about 40 opposition MPs heard the voice of their conscience and voted in support of the NDA candidate in one way or the other.
