An interesting fact has come to light in the politics of Maharashtra. A comparison of the assets of senior Nationalist Congress Party leader Sharad Pawar and his grandson Parth Pawar has revealed that Parth Pawar owns more assets than his grandfather. This information has come out from the affidavit filed at the time of Rajya Sabha nomination.

According to the information given in the affidavit, the total assets of Sharad Pawar and his wife Pratibha Pawar are said to be around Rs 60 crore 71 lakh. On the other hand, the total assets of Parth Pawar have been recorded as Rs 88 crore 33 lakh. In this way, in terms of total wealth, Parth Pawar appears far ahead of his grandfather.

Sharad Pawar is the owner of more than 60 crores

According to the details filed with the Rajya Sabha nomination, Sharad Pawar’s movable assets are said to be around Rs 44 crore 72 lakh. He has about Rs 1 lakh 25 thousand in cash. Apart from this, his fixed deposits in banks and financial institutions are worth about Rs 11 crore 66 lakh.

As an investment, Sharad Pawar has about Rs 27 crore invested in shares and mutual funds. The value of gold and silver jewelery is said to be around Rs 3 crore 85 lakh.

Talking about immovable property, the estimated value of agricultural land, house and flat and other properties in Baramati is said to be around Rs 15 crore 99 lakh.

However, some liabilities are also recorded. According to the affidavit, the liability of Supriya Enterprises has also been stated to be around Rs 49 lakh 84 thousand. Including all these, the total assets of Sharad Pawar and his wife are said to be Rs 60 crore 71 lakh.

Grandson came forward in property matters

Now if we look at Parth Pawar’s wealth, his total wealth is said to be much more than that of his grandfather. According to the affidavit, Parth Pawar’s movable assets are around Rs 11 crore 35 lakh. His fixed deposits in banks, postal department, insurance and other financial institutions are worth about Rs 3 crore 68 lakh.

Parth Pawar’s investment in shares and mutual funds is said to be around Rs 1 crore 17 lakh. The price of gold and silver jewelery is approximately Rs 1 crore 31 lakh. The largest share belongs to his immovable property. The estimated value of his immovable properties, including agricultural land in Baramati taluka and a house in Pune, is said to be around Rs 76 crore 98 lakh.

However, he also has a loan of about Rs 92 lakh 48 thousand from banks or financial institutions. If we look at the total figures, the total wealth of Parth Pawar is Rs 88 crore 33 lakh, which is about Rs 27 crore more than the wealth of Sharad Pawar.

It has become clear from these affidavits filed during Rajya Sabha nomination that at present Parth Pawar is ahead of his grandfather in terms of property. This figure remains a topic of discussion in Maharashtra politics.
