He was the Deputy Chief Minister in the governments of Prithviraj Chavan, Devendra Fadnavis, Uddhav Thackeray and Eknath Shinde, which is a big political record in itself.

A major plane accident has come to light in Baramati, Maharashtra. According to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the Learjet-45 aircraft of VSR operator crashed during crash landing. This accident happened when the plane was trying to land at Baramati airport.
