National President of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena Raj Thackeray has reacted to the ongoing politics on his meeting with Shiv Sena leader and Deputy Chief Minister of the state Eknath Shinde. Talking to journalists, Thackeray said that why is politics explored every time two leaders meet? Now the elections are over. If we want to do some good and positive work, shouldn’t we meet each other? I can meet the Chief Minister tomorrow. There are many important issues of the state, there will be a meeting in that regard. If you were there, I would have said these things to you too.
He said that development does not just mean building roads. It seems as if there is swelling in the cities. The place is the same, the roads are the same, but the population has increased. The number of vehicles has increased a lot. Instead of parking in parking lots, vehicles are parked on the roads. Despite the provision of parking in buildings, vehicles remain parked on the road. This has become a problem in every city.
People coming to cities do not go back – Raj Thackeray
MNS Chief said that people coming to cities do not go back. I have called Bhushan Gagrani and informed him about this. There is no discipline regarding parking even in services like Ola and Uber.
He said that unless fines are collected strictly, there will be no discipline in the cities. The entire system has become disorganized. The situation is such that the fence itself is eating the field. Our own people provide the documents, when will action be taken against them?
Thackeray said whether we will decide or not how many people can come and live in a city? Our cities are being ruined. As a citizen of the state and the opposition, it is my responsibility to speak on these issues. Earlier after the elections the leaders used to meet and talk to each other. Now this will not work. Just maintaining distance will be of no use.
