Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has released the notification for Group-C Service Combined Preliminary Exam 2025. Through this recruitment, a total of 938 posts are being filled in different departments of the state government. The application process has started from 7 October 2025 and today is the last date. All the candidates who want to participate in this examination can visit the official website of MPSC. You can fill the online form by visiting mpsc.gov.in.
There are a total of 938 posts in this recruitment, which include 852 posts of Clerk Typist, 73 posts of Tax Assistant, 9 posts of Industry Inspector and 4 posts of Technical Assistant, that is, this recruitment has come out simultaneously in many departments, due to which the candidates will get a chance to choose the post as per their qualification.
Ability
Different qualifications have been fixed for each post. For Clerk Typist, there should be graduation in any subject and knowledge of Marathi or English typing is necessary. For Tax Assistant also, there should be typing speed along with graduation, whereas for Industry Inspector and Technical Assistant, graduation degree in the relevant field is necessary. age limit
For this examination, the age of the candidate should be between 18 years to 38 years as on 1 February 2026. Relaxation will be given to reserved category candidates as per the rules.
salary
Talking about salary, the candidates selected in this recruitment will get a salary ranging from Rs 19900 to Rs 1,12,400 per month.
How much will the application fee be?
The application fee for this exam has been kept different according to the category. For Prelims exam, general category candidates will have to pay Rs 394, reserve category candidates will have to pay Rs 294 and ex-servicemen will have to pay only Rs 44, whereas for the mains exam, the fee for general category has been fixed at Rs 544, reserve Rs 344 and ex-servicemen Rs 44. The fees will have to be paid through online only.

The preliminary examination will be conducted on 4 January 2026, after which the qualified candidates will be called for the mains examination and then skill test.necessary documents
