This name is almost fixed
The post has been vacant after the state’s current president Chandrashekhar Bawankule became Revenue Minister. After this, the process of organizational election has started. Ravindra Chavan’s name is being considered almost fixed for this post. He is an MLA from Dombivali seat in Thane district. In January 2025, he was made the executive president of the state, who was seen as the preparation of the post of president.

Strengthen the organization
Ravindra Chavan strengthened the organization in the state under the ‘Sangathan Parva’ campaign. Ravindra Chavan was active from local elections to membership campaign. Recently, in the executive meeting held in Nagpur, Bawankule also indicated his name. Organizational elections at district and division level have been completed. The party has indicated the announcement of new appointments by the end of the month.

Significantly, under the leadership of Chandrashekhar Bawankule, the BJP had registered a historic victory in the assembly elections in Maharashtra. After this, Bawankule joined the cabinet. Now Maharashtra BJP is waiting for the new president.
