Mumbai Security News: The police has tightened security after a social media post, which feared violence on the occasion of Eid in Mumbai. In this post shared on March 27, it was claimed that some intruders could plot riots and bomb blasts.

A viral post increased concern on social media
According to police sources, this post appeared on the social media platform ‘X’ at around 11 am on Thursday (March 27). A user tagged the ‘X’ account of the Navi Mumbai Police and wrote that “Mumbai Police should be vigilant. During Eid from 31 March to 1 April 2025, some illegal Rohingya/Bangladeshi/Pakistani infiltrations live in areas like Joe Dongri, Hindu-wide rims And bomb blasts can provoke. “

Police takes security steps
As soon as the Navi Mumbai Police received this alert, he immediately informed the Mumbai Police Control Room. Subsequently, the Mumbai Police increased patrolling in Dongri area and made extensive security arrangements at sensitive places.

Police sources confirmed that a search operation was conducted in Dongri area, but no suspicious activity has been found so far. Meanwhile, cyber cells are actively detecting the person who threatened using advanced technical methods.

Appeal to avoid rumors
The Mumbai Police has assured the citizens that strict steps have been taken to prevent any untoward incident and maintain law and order in the city. The police have appealed to the citizens to avoid rumors spreading on social media and inform the police immediately about any suspicious information.
