An incident of theft has come to light in the ‘Muktai bungalow’ of senior Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar) and former state minister Eknath Rao Khadse in Jalgaon. It is being told that the thieves entered the bungalow by breaking the lock in the middle of the night and broke the shelves of the rooms on the ground floor and the first floor.
The incident came to light today (Tuesday, October 28) morning, when the woman in charge of the house reached the bungalow for cleaning as usual. He saw the doors of the rooms broken and immediately informed the local police.
Khadse family was not present at the bungalow
At present, it is not clear how much worth of goods or cash the thieves have absconded with. No one was present in the bungalow at that time, because the Khadse family does not live in this bungalow at present.
Senior officers of Jalgaon police and forensic team reached the spot and inspected the spot. Police have started investigating the security arrangements of the bungalow, CCTV footage and suspicious activities in the surrounding areas.
There was a robbery at the petrol pump of Raksha Khadse.
It is noteworthy that just a few days before this incident, a robbery had taken place at the petrol pump of Eknath Khadse’s daughter-in-law and Union Minister of State Raksha Khadse. Now, with the Khadse family being targeted for the second time in a row, questions are being raised whether this is just a coincidence or a part of a bigger conspiracy.
Police say that they are investigating from every angle. Is this an ordinary theft or the result of some political or personal rivalry?
Police and forensic team investigated on the spot
As soon as the information was received, the Jalgaon police team and forensic department officials reached the spot and searched the entire bungalow. Police have started investigating the security arrangements, CCTV camera footage and suspicious activities in the surrounding areas.
