The opposition is constantly attacking the government over the case of vote theft in Maharashtra assembly elections. Shiv Sena UBT’s mouthpiece Saamana has once again made serious allegations against the BJP government of Maharashtra and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in its editorial.

Allegations of scam in ‘Larki Bahin Yojana’
Saamana alleged that the ‘Ladli Bahn’ scheme took place on a large scale. According to the editorial, crores of rupees were sent from the government treasury in about 30 lakh fake accounts across the state.
It was claimed that Fadnavis and his team misused government money to woo women voters in the name of the plan. A large number of men are also said to be among the beneficiaries associated with this scam.
Evidence of vote theft in assembly elections
Referring to the elections held in Panvel, Dharashiv and Shirur assembly constituencies in the editorial, it was said that the opposition candidates have handed over evidence of vote theft to the Election Commission, but the Commission did not show the courage to take action.
It states that the BJP claims that they got public public opinion, only “rhetoric”. Fadnavis is accused of using government schemes to remain in power and tried to give validity to this scam by tied Rakhi to women.
130th constitutional amendment also targeted
It is written in the editorial that the Modi government is preparing to bring the bill, which will provide a provision to arrest corrupt chief ministers and ministers, it will be used to harass political opponents.
Question on women empowerment and attacked government’s legitimacy
In the editorial, it was asked whether it is women empowerment to buy votes by paying Rs 1,500 to women? It said that making women self -reliant and self -respecting is the empowerment, not to scam in the name of schemes.
In the end, Saamana described the current government as “illegal, unconstitutional and corrupt” and said that Fadnavis-Mandhe-Njit Pawar has not received the true mandate of the public. In the article, a scathing attack was written, “Mr. Fadnavis, your government is not real!”
